We request the honors and handle the paperwork, so your family can be present.
Military funeral honors
Every eligible veteran may receive military funeral honors at no cost to the family. At a minimum that means two uniformed members of the Armed Forces, the folding and presenting of the United States flag, and the playing of Taps.
VA burial benefits
Eligible veterans may be buried in a VA national cemetery at no cost to the family. VA benefits can also include:
- A government headstone or marker
- A burial flag
- A Presidential Memorial Certificate
- A burial allowance, for those who qualify
What we'll need
The veteran's discharge papers (DD-214) help most. If you can't find them, tell us. We can help request them.
